Bateman's creations remind me of Professor Julian Raintree & His Curious Concoctions at The Machine Age in Trolley Square. Kind of Steam Punk. I loved his idea of the camera looking back at us.
I adore Ed Bateman, his quirky mind, and all of his work. Were I but 20 years younger with an IQ several hundred (or thousand?) points higher and devastatingly attractive I would pursue the man just to be vastly entertained for every minute of my life. I say this as his friend, BTW.
