Love the idea of the Greek chorus. I made a comment on your post about Auld Lang Syne which I can't seem to find. It was about how much I admired Jean Redpath and her song Will You No Come Back Again and how wonderful that you got to interview her before she died.
What an incredible explanation of your work on the production. I was at Brian Christiansen's tonight where they talked about this. I believe you were there. Such talent! Thank you for sharing!
I knew about the bullet. I did not know he was your ancestor. He converted the Cannon's in Liverpool and my grandfatherX2 George Cannon was there to build the coffins and craft the death masks. They stood together and oddly enough, they stood with me when I wrote the music for this film. I'm grateful to have found a way to honor them.
Oh my goodness Hal! I’m so proud of you as always but extremely grateful you share with us the creative process behind the scenes. Yes it is serendipity and magical and we do carry the wounds and triumphs of ancestors. I hope you publish this far and wide sharing the collaborative process and artistic genius
What an interesting documentary! I can’t wait to see it. Wish we could be there tomorrow. The story behind your music is fascinating.
Thank you Kim

Gorgeous music.
My grandfather,John Taylor, was in the jail. His watch caught a bullet. You can see it at the pioneer museum.
